I’VE GOT VISITORS

Hello,

I hope you and yours had a lovely Father’s Day Weekend.

It’s been busy around the Becker Homestead. That’s because I’ve got visitors! My son from DC and his family came to visit for Father’s Day.

We had a wonderful weekend with the family.  We went on boat rides……

And we visited friends with swings.  It’s kinda like friends with benefits for babies.

My dad came up the hill and we all got to pretend we were kids again, playing with my granddaughter Elle.

It’s amazing what 15 month old girls can get 87 year old great-grandfather’s to do!

Elle has a way with the fellas.  She can even get her 3 month old brother to play along.

And she gives good kisses too.

As sweet as she is she is still lacking table manners.  We’re working on that.

In fact, I’ll likely be working harder at being a Grandmother this week than a blogger. That’s because Brad and I have babysitting duty for four whole nights and five whole days while our kids take a much needed vacation to Napa Valley without the kids.  So, as you can see, just like Elle and her spaghetti, we’ve got our hands full.  I am reminded why I had each of my kids 7 years apart.  Caring for two kids under two is no easy undertaking. But it sure is a wonderful labor of love. And, I’m lovin’ every minute of it.

So, I’ll apologize in advance right now if you don’t hear too much from me this week.  I’ve got visitors……
