BLUE CHEESE AND ROSEMARY PINWHEELS

A super easy and super delicious recipe. Serve these delicious pinwheels warm with a cold glass of white wine.

Serves: 12 pinwheels
Ingredients
  • 1 Sheet Frozen Puff Pastry, Thawed
  • 5 Ounces Crumbled Blue Cheese
  • 2 Tablespoons Diced Fresh Rosemary
  • 1 Large Egg, Beaten with 1 Teaspoon of Water (Egg Wash)
  • Additional Rosemary for Garnish
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
  2. Butter a 13" x 18" baking pan
  3. Open the sheet of thawed puff pastry.
  4. Using a rolling pin, roll into a rectangular shape, making it as thin as possible.
  5. Sprinkle the blue cheese over the pastry dough, leaving a ½" border.
  6. Sprinkle on the fresh rosemary.
  7. Starting on the long side of the dough, roll the pastry until you reach the last 1".
  8. Brush the remaining border with egg wash.
  9. Seal up the roll. Brush the roll with egg wash.
  10. Using a sharp knife, cut the roll into approximately twelve, ½-inch-thick pieces.
  11. Place the rounds on your prepared baking dish & lightly brush with egg wash.
  12. Bake until golden brown, approximately 15 minutes.
