RED, WHITE AND BLUE CANDIED APPLES

These Red, White and Blue Candied apples are multi purpose. They serve both as patriot party favors and as place cards on your holiday table.

Ingredients
  • 10 Large, Red Apples
  • 12 Ounces Good Quality White Chocolate Melting Wafers
  • 1 - 2.25 Ounce Jar Blue Crystal Decors (colored sugar)
  • 10 - Lollipop Sticks
Instructions
  1. Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Thoroughly wash and dry apples.
  3. Insert lollipop stick into stem side of apples.
  4. Following package instructions, melt the white chocolate wafers.
  5. Stir the melted chocolate until it is liquid and creamy.
  6. Dip an apple into the melted chocolate, covering ⅔rds of the apple.
  7. Quickly sprinkle the lower third of the apple with blue sugar crystals.
  8. Place the apple onto the prepared cookie sheet.
  9. Quickly repeat this process until all apples have been dipped and sprinkled.
  10. Place apples in the refrigerator to cool for about 1 hour before packaging.

Notes
Attach name tag flags to the top of each stick, package in cellophane bags tied in ribbon.
