DRINKS AT THE LAKE ARROWHEAD YACHT CLUB
Hi!
Saturday night we had drinks at the Lake Arrowhead Yacht Club. It’s a very pretty place!
We arrived by boat and, when we pulled up, the guys pointed out a very pretty vintage boat parked in the next slip. The boat is a Coronado By Century.
As a blogger, you’d think I’d take my camera with me everywhere I go, BUT that night I forgot it. So, I asked my husband to take some pictures for me with his phone. Thus, the quality of these photos is poor. Plus it was dusk and the low light didn’t help. But I was so enamored by this beautiful boat that I just had to have photos.
We enjoyed the view over glasses of wine and watched the sun set over beautiful Lake Arrowhead.
Returning to the boat after drinks, low and behold, there was another Coronado parked next to us! It was a sight for sore eyes, a thing to behold. The members of The Lake Arrowhead Yacht Club have very good taste in boats. I understand that these boats were first manufactured in 1955 and were considered the Rolls Royce of their time. I read that folks like JFK and Elvis owned Coronados. They had good taste in boats too!
Just look at this boat! Can you believe the nautical pillows lined up perfectly in the back of the boat? And check out how perfectly the dock lines are rolled up next to the cleat. Who does that? A perfectionist for sure.
I want to meet the owners of this boat! I think I would like them. If you know, them please introduce me:)
BON VOYAGE!
