IS IT TOO EARLY TO THINK ABOUT CHRISTMAS?
Hi there!
Is it too early to think about Christmas? I know we just celebrated Halloween…
and Thanksgiving is still 24 days away.

But when my favorite online stationery vendor, Minted.com, asked me to do a sponsored post showcasing their upcoming collection of holiday photo cards, I jumped at the chance! That’s because I happen to love Minted, and I also enjoy sharing with you the things I love. For the past four years, Minted has been my go-to vendor for holiday cards.
This was our Minted.com Christmas card last year.
And we sent this Minted.com card in 2012…
and this one in 2011.
Of course, I will be selecting my 2014 Christmas card on Minted.com again this year, and I started the search today. There are so many great designs to choose from that it’s difficult to decide. As you can see, I typically choose a card that allows me to feature lots of photos of our extended family, so I like cards like this one below from Minted’s 2014 Holiday Collection..
It is available in 3 different colors: red, yellow and gray. You can see how the card looks in each of the available colors with a simple click.
Then, they also offer this nifty “timeline” feature for the interior of the card. This is where you can add additional photos featuring events that took place throughout the year. I always select a folding card that offers this feature for the interior of the card.
The nice thing about most of the card designs is the ability to also place photos on the back of the card.
But this year I am drawn to the simplicity of cards that feature only one photo on the front like these.
If I still had a little one at home I’d copy this idea, as all my boys had one of these cool cars growing up. Do they still make them? If so, they are real classics!
I also like the cards featuring shiny gold lettering done with real pressed foil. I decorate my home primarily in gold for the holidays, so it seems fitting that I’d have a gold holiday card as well.
But I am also drawn to these cards featuring a map of the United States. You can move the star around the map to identify your hometown.
And you can select from 3 different colorways as well.
But then there are the cutout cards which make darling Christmas tree ornaments.
Decisions, decisions! When you eventually decide on the perfect card for you, then you also get to select a coordinating envelope liner. It’s the envelope liner that really pushes these cards over the top for me, adding that little extra bit of style and class to my holiday card.
And the last bit of added pizazz is what they call a “Skinny Wrap”. It’s a coordinating return address label that wraps around the back of the envelope and gives an added bit of pop to your post.
But I think the thing I love most about Minted.com is the fact that they will also address your envelopes for you for FREE! I’m not kidding! All you have to do is input all your names and addresses and Minted does the rest, in a variety of styles and colors as well.
All in all, Minted.com is the way to go for holiday cards. From the great card designs, to the coordinating envelope liners, to the exceptional paper quality, to the ability to personalize your cards and make them all your own, Minted.com is simply the best!
And even though Minted compensated me for this post, all my thoughts & opinions are my very own.
